ApexNetwork Director of ACOMP is Now a World Record Holder!

On May 21-24, 2015 Andy Vitale had the unique opportunity to play in a world recording setting baseball game. Here are some impressive numbers from the 70 hour marathon baseball game:

  • Total Time: 70 hours, 9 minutes, 23 seconds
  • Total Innings:  252
  • 252 Total Innings = 28 complete 9 inning games
  • Final Score:   Team Dino: 272        Team Lange: 246
  • Total Innings: 17% of a Major League Baseball season in 4 days

The final score averaged out to 9.7 / 8.7 runs per team per 9 innings

However, the most important number is $60,000+ was raised for the Mighty Oaks Heart Foundation (MOFH).  The MOHF is dedicated to providing financial support to families coping with the traumatic realty of congenital heart defects. The foundation also endeavors to identify leading research and development grant recipients to help improve the treatment of congenital heart defects.
