All of the consultation services we provide are part of our ACOMP (Apex Comprehensive Occupational Management and Prevention) therapy program that takes a unique approach to workers’ compensation claims.

ACOMP is an industrial-strength program built to meet the needs of the workplace. With ACOMP, we address everything from prevention to injury resolution.

Our facilities have warehouse environments, allowing for unlimited job simulations and work-specific tasks. If a worker’s job requires him or her to handle truck tires, push or pull pallet jacks, or shovel coal, we can simulate the exact task at hand.

Ergonomics means fitting the job to the worker, so performance and safety are improved. At ApexNetwork Physical Therapy our therapists offer ergonomic evaluations to help limit the risk of injury to workers. We do this by offering on-site evaluations, resulting in cost-effective ergonomic recommendations and training so that your site will be as safe and efficient as possible.

Functional Capacity Evaluations are used to determine an individual’s tolerance and functional abilities to perform a variety of work activities. These broad assessments help our therapists compare an individual’s health status and functional abilities to the demands of their job and work environment. FCEs can also assist in identifying any limitations or obstacles that might delay the return to work process.

Our Injury Causation Analysis is provided on-site to individuals in need of this service. Each analysis contains research and data about the accident/injury, it includes photos and videos, it contains the identification of any injuries to the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, or nerves as well as a detailed report based on published research. At the conclusion of an analysis, our therapists can better measure the projected force behind the accident with the body’s tolerance to avoid it.

An on-site job analysis helps our team identify the physical demands and environmental conditions required to perform specific job functions. This will help with reducing work injuries and work-related disabilities. Each analysis identifies the essential job requirements and physical demands in accordance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). The data gathered can be used to help develop a treatment plan, a work hardening or work conditioning program, an FCE or a pre-employment test.

This on-site service provides necessary company-wide development and health and wellness education. Topics may include stretching programs, body mechanics, posture and back safety, and basic and advanced ergonomic principles. These programs can be effective at reducing injuries, disabilities, illnesses and even workplace fatalities.

Our therapists can treat a wide range of clinical diagnoses affecting the back, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot. By ApexNetwork Physical Therapy providing this service on-site, individuals can conveniently stick with their treatment plan and schedule so they can get back to doing what they love as safely and quickly as possible.
