Kinetacore Dry Needling L2 gives Bailey an advanced tool in his toolbox as a clinician to further help his patients to the best of my ability. Following Dry Needling L2, Bailey now confidently and competently able to apply the functional dry needling technique to the forearm/hand, cervical spine, for TMJ, upper thoracic/parascapular region, shoulder girdle, lower thoracic and LT junction of the spine, advanced hip and pelvic region, deep lower leg muscles, and the foot.
Objectives of the course include; Continue to demonstrate knowledge and skills gained in functional dry needling Level 1; Demonstrate understanding of advocacy issues related to dry needling; Describe current literature regarding theoretical constructs and physiologic effects of dry needling; Describe current literature regarding dry needling in various clinical presentations, impairments, dysfunctions; Synthesize foundational and clinical sciences of trigger points, pain patterns, movement dysfunction and dry needling to apply functional dry needling in a clinical setting; Demonstrate competence in advanced needling techniques; Demonstrate competency in proper technique and safe practice of needling functional dry needling L2 musculature.
With the tool of dry needling and manual therapy in conjunction, Bailey can improve patient outcomes with the rest of his clinical skills.
